Netflix Data Usage

Netflix is one of the most popular online streaming platforms you can use to watch movies, anime, TV series and a whole lot more. In order to start streaming movies, you need first to create an account and pay a monthly subscription fee.

Watching movies on Netflix anytime is never an issue if you are connected to the WIFI or unlimited internet connection. This only becomes a considerable factor if you are using limited data plans.

The key factor that affects data consumption in watching videos is the quality of the video. Needless to say, a 1080p or a high-quality video consumes a lot more data than played on a 480p or low-quality video. The difference is about 2,700MB.

So, in watching Netflix movies when you are subscribed to a bulk data plan or promo, make sure to watch on video quality that matches your data budget. Otherwise, it would be disappointing if you won't be able to see the rest of the movie because you ran out of data.
